Build your CQC registration pack

Three short steps. Every document CQC asks a new homecare agency for, with your details filled in and the regulation or CQC guidance quoted under each one. No account needed.

Your business

Step 1 of 3

Your business

How is the business set up?

Your legal status goes in the statement of purpose. Companies also name a nominated individual.

If you are a sole trader, will you manage the service full time yourself?

A sole trader who is in full-time day-to-day charge does not need a registered manager, and the pack names you as the registered provider instead. Companies and partnerships always need a registered manager.

Is your office also someone’s home?

CQC asks you to describe each location, including any other use of the property, such as being a domestic dwelling.

How do you hold your office?

CQC asks for different evidence of legal occupancy, and a signed permission letter if you do not fully own it.

Can CQC send formal notices to your office email?

The statement of purpose gives an email for notices only if you agree to CQC serving them that way.

Your answers are saved in this browser. You can change them at any time before you buy.
